is delighted to offer an online training module on the changes to the
California Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Title 24) introduced
in the latest revision to the standards. The 2005 Title 24 Standards
went into effect on October 1, 2005 , and this module provides an
overview of the various changes to the standards requirements.

The Curriculum: The class covers various changes to the Title 24 standards, including:
- A description of the code change intent
- The specific code and Alternative Compliance Manual language
- Im pact of the code changes on building design, specification and construction procedures
- A
description of how the change integrates with ot her code changes, and
design disciplines such as interactions between lighting design and
HVAC loads, Envelope design and lighting design etc.
- Links to additional information.
Class Format:
The module uses animated illustrations and color images in MS
PowerPoint presentation format. Review the module anywhere you have
access to the Internet on your own schedule. Approximately 1-2 hours
total review time.
