Syllabus

Mechanical Engineer, Tom Lunneberg, P.E., presents an interestingdiscussion about the benefits and opportunities for designing highquality heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems inbuildings. Mr. Lunneberg begins by explaining what a high qualitysystem is and discussing the benefits. Then, he talks about designideas and energy-efficient equipment. In addition, Mr. Lunnebergdiscusses barriers in the design world to high quality HVAC systems andnew approaches. Finally, he analyzes several case studies that haveutilized high quality systems.

Course Objectives

The workshop objective is to provide information about the following areas of high quality HVAC:

  • Introduction to and Benefits of High Quality HVAC

  • Barriers and New Approaches to Quality HVAC Systems

  • Design Ideas and Energy-Efficient HVAC Equipment
